A major step forward in the development of Zobele was made in the early 2000s, recalls Andrea Pedrotti, then and still today Product Development Manager, speaking of the “Eagle” project.
Developed in partnership with an important multinational, the ambitious project set out to design a new electric air freshener which could be completely assembled with automated lines. It was a case of thinking outside the box, in order to use a modular approach and create a product that could be automatically assembled efficiently, in large quantities and quickly. The special team succeeded in making a product that met the customer’s functional and technical requirements, while at the same time achieving an hourly production capacity never reached before.
The new lines, created ad hoc for the Eagle project and installed in the Trento plant, produced over 13 million pieces in the year the product was launched.
